In the land of Dev Bhoomi, Part 8
In the land of Dev Bhoomi, Part 8
Goodbyes are always hard yet it gives another opportunity to plan new journeys. It was difficult this time maybe because it was not just a trip, it was a self-executed plan and spiritual journey.
We were awake by 8 am, had a bath with heavy breakfast and moved on to our next journey some of us to Rishikesh and others to Chopta.
To summarize my experience about this self-planned spiritual journey travelling 1420km on road, 55km+ hike was a wonderful experience getting through all odds (getting sick, getting stuck) yet learnt to have a lot of patience, peaceful environment, good and positive vibes and more things to learn from nature. Some things are beyond your beliefs but they still do exist in nature and you don't have the answer to all of them and that is the time you start believing in the mythological stories written, I could relate to fewer stories.
While I was on this yatra, I observed people around me, there were few senior citizens who looked pale, worried and were in pain more of physical yet were on this yatra on Doli , they themselves were in pain physically and yet making a burden out of yourself by your own weight when you are being carried all the way on doli or khachars, and so my question is how you can reach up to God? And we saw a few who dragged their kids who had no clue why were they were there. This could be an individual decision but I chose to be on this path when I am physically fit and mentally aware.
