2022 started with New Adventure 'CAVING'

Welcomed our New Year 2022 with New Adventure!

My hubby(Pratik) and I were on a trip to kokan on 1st Jan 2022 which is my native, since childhood I had seen kokan in bits and pieces and so thought to continue to explore in the same way so this time it was Ratnagiri I chose.
After a family gettogether at my native(near Kankavli), we both started our journey towards Ratnagiri enroute we planned to visit Kunkeshwar Temple and Vijaydurg Fort.
Vijaydurg is the oldest fort on the Sindhudurg coast,
Presently the area of the fort is about 17 acres and is surrounded by the Arabian Sea on three sides. Shivaji Maharaj developed Vijaydurg as an important base for Maratha warships and this is one of only two Maratha forts where Shivaji Maharaj personally hoisted the saffron flag.

We stayed back in a hotel called Seafans which was right in front of the sea though I kept wondering why the name seafans instead of seaface🤔😬
The next day early morning we planned to visit Ratnagiri Fort which is called Ratnadurg Fort or Bhagawati Fort, which is a fort located 2 km  in the Ratnagiri district, of Maharashtra. This fort is important in the Ratnagiri district. The fort is the main tourist attraction due to the Bhagawati Temple inside the fort.

                                     Bhagvati Mandir

Outside Ratnadurg fort we came across a poster which read 'CAVING WITH PROFESSIONALS' Team RATNADURG ADVENTURES. We immediately tried calling on to the nos displayed, we had no clue with the details about this activity,  does this happen on weekdays or weekends? How many no of people are required for the minimum batch..nothing..our answers were called by one of the professionals in the team and he said give me 15-20mins we would get back to you.
We both were very excited and we wanted some new experience apart from what we do usually (hiking).
We waited almost for half an hour impatiently thinking we won't get called back and we should start on our return journey and bang on we received a call saying you can come to the spot where caving activity takes place and carry your extra pair of clothes with you which was already mentioned in the poster.
Being adventure lovers we both had a beautiful experience for the next 1 hour which was exclusive to only 2 of us.
